Trust and transparency
Editorial, review and corrections policy
How DentScout keeps repair guidance useful, attributable and honest.
Authorship and expert review
DentScout articles identify their author and publication and update dates. Content is not described as expert reviewed unless a named reviewer has checked it and their relevant role and verifiable credentials are published on the article.
Sources and pricing
Technical, legal and competitor claims should link to the primary source wherever one is available. Price ranges are planning guidance, not guaranteed averages. The independent technician's written quote is the price a customer should rely on.
Reviews and local evidence
Review cards identify their original platform. A review is described as local evidence only when its source or underlying job record identifies that location. National reviews are labelled as national and are never reused as proof of work in an unrelated city.
Corrections
If you find an error, email simon@dentscout.co.uk with the page, the statement and supporting evidence. Material corrections are reflected in the article's updated date.
